Help Desk Technician - SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is actively seeking a Help Desk Technician in Grand Rapids, MI for our client in the manufacturing industry. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing timely customer service and technical support to the company’s staff.
Serves as the primary resource to receive technical requests and service incidents
Ensures that tickets are correctly assigned and serviced in a timely manner.
Provides support to colleagues in dealing with a wide variety of hardware problems as well as software issues including Microsoft office products, operating systems and web browsers, etc.
Creates user ID’s with active directory when needed
Troubleshoots network and software malfunctions while constantly working to improve processes
Implements IT client hardware and applications
Completes additional duties or special project work when necessary
PC moves, adds and changes including installations and updates
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
A+ Certification required
Experience troubleshooting basic hardware, printer and software issues, required
PC imaging experience required
Experience working with tablets and various versions of Windows required
Familiarity with AS400 systems required
Experience working with help desk ticketing systems preferred
